An elegant, hand -cast magnet is integrated into the base of the porcelain cups. To ensure that the cups stay in place while travel, they must be combined with a metal counterpart. The set includes two metal nano-gel pads for this purpose. The force ratio between the magnetic cups and the metal nano-gel pads is perfectly balanced, so that the cups are held in place by the pads on the one hand, but can also be easily removed from the pads for drinking on the other.
