• The Thermic Black coating does NOT need to be removed before installation.
• Avoid using brake cleaners or methods to remove the Thermic Black coating, as this will not be covered under EBC warranty.
• The coating will wear away naturally in the pad swept area within the first 10 to 20 stops after installation.
