The BXH9001 is a hitch step for Blue Ox adjustable ball mounts. It pins under the adjustable drop ball slide and stays on the mount with the ball in place, so reaching the truck bed does not mean reconfiguring the hitch first.
Blue Ox lists it for the BXH10141, BXH10171, BXH12241 and BXH12271 adjustable ball mounts. Because it is an add-on rather than a hitch in its own right, the weight limits that apply come from the ball mount and the rest of the towing system, not from this part.
